]]>]]>Last Thursday afternoon, 16-year-old Chris Brown was living the life of a typical teenager. He spent the day at school, took a shower in the afternoon, then lay down on his bed to do a little bit of nothing. Isn’t that what most teenagers do with their days? But in Brown’s case, “school” consists of 11th-grade course work assigned by a tutor who travels with him around the country. That shower Brown took was in a Memphis hotel room, not at his home in tiny Tappahannock, Va. And Brown is in bed because he needs the rest: He’s halfway through a 24-date tour supporting his platinum-selling, self-titled debut on Jive Records.
